Goncalo Alves w/Sap 12 x 12 x 2" Bowl Blank
Goncalo Alves is really eye-catching and is commonly referred to as “Tigerwood”. It is typically a medium, reddish-brown with irregularly spaced streaks of dark brown to black. Goncalo Alves is generally not too difficult to work, despite its high density. The wood is resistant to moisture absorption, which can make it a bit difficult to glue but it turns and finishes well.
**Note: This blank has been waxed and may contain varying amounts of moisture.
